Get to Know the J&P

JP Handmade Candles is locally owned and operated by a highschool entrepreneur Jack Butler. Our company began with two sixteen year old boys and a dream. Our idea came from a group chat late one night. The idea of candles was thrown up (almost as a joke). The idea actually seemed to them pretty promising. Together, best friends Jack Butler and Pete Peebles started this company with a combined total of $300 and a kitchen table. Our first year in 2022, the company sold 10k in total sales. The next year we sold over 40k in 2023. In 2024 we made some big changes. Pete had decided to take a step away and begin taking another path. Jack now is the sole owner and operator of JP Handmade Candles.

Hey, It's Jack. My vision for JP Handmade Candles is still as it was in the beginning! I strive to provide the highest quality candles for the most affordable price. My dream is to use this company to pay for my college education in Bible and business. Long term I want to use this as a tool to fund my works in ministry. I love business, but I love God more. God gave me a gift for business and I want to use those skills for his glory. I want to encourage other young people to do great things and know it is possible! I hope you all will be here to support me in my journey! And don't forget, we will always be too hot to candle! 

Meet J&P

Jack (the tall one) has been a business man since he was very young. From making rubber band bracelets, spending lots of time in the shop woodworking, to growing a candle company with his best friend.

Pete (the short one) like Jack has been a business man since a young age. Whether it be selling random things to people at school, selling things on Ebay, or random side hustles. He's always trying to fine a way to make a dollar.
